Available Order Types

When placing a trade, you can select the order type you want to use. To do so, click on the buy/sell option for the instrument you're trading.

Liquid Charts offers four different order types:

1. Market Orders

Market orders are executed immediately at the current market price. The trader agrees to buy or sell at the available price, prioritizing speed over price. This order type is ideal when you need to quickly enter or exit a trade.

2. Limit Orders

A limit order allows you to specify the price at which you want to buy or sell an asset. For example, if you want to buy a currency pair, you can set a limit order, and the trade will only execute when the price reaches your set level.

3. Stop Orders

Stop orders are triggered when the price of an asset reaches a specified level. For instance, you can set a stop order to sell a currency pair when it hits a certain price, automatically executing the trade once that price is met.

4. OCO Orders (One Cancels the Other)

An OCO order allows you to place two orders at the same time, where the execution of one cancels the other. This order type helps manage risk and lock in profits without constant monitoring. For example, you could set both a sell limit order and a sell stop order at different prices. When one order is triggered, the other is automatically canceled.
