What is a Trading Dashboard?

The Trading Dashboard in Liquid Charts provides traders with a comprehensive visual overview of key performance metrics and market insights. It includes vital data such as Total Net P&L, Avg Daily Net P&L, Win Rate, Risk-Reward Ratio, Max Drawdown, and more, empowering traders to monitor and analyze their trading portfolio effectively.

How to Access Your Trading Dashboard in Liquid Charts

To open your Trading Dashboard, simply click on the Trading Dashboard option within Liquid Charts.

Once opened, you’ll find an array of essential trading metrics designed to help you make informed decisions:

  • Total Net P&L: This represents your overall financial gain or loss from all completed trades and positions in your Liquid Charts account.
  • Avg Daily Net P&L: This measures your average daily profit or loss, offering insights into your account's daily performance over a specified period.
  • Risk/Reward Ratio: A critical metric to evaluate the potential profit (reward) versus the potential loss (risk) for each trade, aiding in strategic decision-making.
  • % Return: Displays the percentage change in the value of your account over a selected period, reflecting overall profitability or loss.
  • Avg Winning Trade Holding Time: The average duration successful trades are held before being closed, providing insights into the time frame of profitable strategies.
  • Avg Losing Trade Holding Time: Indicates the average time unprofitable trades are held before being closed.
  • Win Rate: This metric calculates the percentage of successful trades out of the total executed trades, offering a quick measure of your trading strategy’s effectiveness.
  • Max Drawdown: Highlights the maximum percentage drop in your account's value from its peak to its lowest point, assessing risk and volatility.
  • Avg Winning Trade Net P&L: Shows the average profit from successful trades, helping evaluate the financial outcome of profitable positions.
  • Avg Losing Trade Net P&L: Displays the average loss from unsuccessful trades, aiding in understanding the impact of unprofitable positions.
  • Instruments Traded (Overall Positive and Negative Product P&L): Summarizes the cumulative profit or loss across all instruments traded within a specific period.
  • Per Day Traded Net P&L: Offers the average daily profit or loss, grouped by weekdays, to help you analyze day-to-day performance.

Time Range and Refreshing Metrics

Liquid Charts allows traders to analyze data over predefined time ranges such as Today, Last Week, Last Month, or All History. Alternatively, you can select a custom time range for a more tailored analysis.

To update and refresh all metrics on the Trading Dashboard, click on the Refresh Metrics button.
