How to Use an Authenticator App for Extra Security

To enhance the security and reliability of your account access, Liquid Brokers now supports Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) using authenticator apps such as Google Authenticator

While email verification remains available, using an authenticator app provides a faster and more secure login experience.

Here's what you need to know!

Steps to Enable 2FA via Authenticator App:
  1. Log in and navigate to your Profile Settings
    How to locate it on a computer
    • Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the page, then select 'Profile' from the dropdown menu.
    How to locate it on a mobile
    • Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the page, then select 'Profile' from the dropdown menu.
  2. Go to the Security section
  3. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication
    (If you are using a mobile, kindly scroll down the page if needed, to be able to check this section below the 'Change Password' area)
  4. Select Authenticator App as your verification method
  5. Insert Email verification code to scan code
  6. Scan the QR code using Google Auth App
  7. Enter the code generated by your app to complete setup

Once confirmed, your authenticator app will be linked, and 2FA will be enabled for your account.

From this point forward, you’ll use the code from your Authenticator App whenever you log in or perform sensitive actions like withdrawals.
